From the awesome album Red Dirt Girl. I've never made a video for youtube, but I did this one because it's one of my favorite Emmylou Harris songs and I couldn't find it anywhere on here. So I just found a random picture I took last spring of an old Native American mound along the Natchez Trace in north MS to make a video out of the song. Enjoy! (*hands you a tissue*)

@themonaghans Wow, thank you for pointing that out! I hadn't been able to differentiate the voices until I re-listened again just now. (I still like the Bruce harmonies the best though. :) )

@barques95 It's actually Patti Scialfa singing the harmony. Bruce only chimes in at the very end around 3:22.

Thanks very much for posting - one of the best songs on a great album. I love hearing Springsteen doing the harmony vocals on this.

@SonofEmmy2 Oooh, I haven't heard that version! I will try to find it. This whole album is one I play over and over and over.

This is also one of my favorite Emmylou songs. I love the demo version even more, it's a bit more acoustic and stripped-down.
