Going through my old LP collection and converting them to digital format. Lots of old gems have popped up, including this one. Such a melancholy song, made even more so by Emmylou's plaintive voice. What a treasure Emmylou has been, huh? I've been listening to her for over 40 years now. Can't say that about very many artists.
From the album "Cimarron", which I consider to be one of her best, if not *the* best. Written by Clinton Codack and Wendy Special.

i must say there is one thing i regret.. that i didnt know this album when i was younger.. i remember i had one album of her...But i must say that one album cost me about 18 to 20 Usd in Switzerland back then. and i loved music so much that there was not enough for buy them all... i also loved Italian music beside country and Rock.. so woow not enough . now it is so easy and cost nothing.. it is like paradise and i never saw a video before because there was no for watch..... back in the 60 70 sfor buy Italian album in the 70s i had to go to Italy.. hehe... imagine that !! because in Switzerland were only a view to buy . and they were not very interesting. best choise i found after the Swiss Border in Italy 5 minutes by Train form the border,, in Como.. and Como was so nice and exiting that i loved to go buy there.sometimes i went by train.. sometimes by carstop hichhike. never would do again..it was dangerous. some men try to touch me.. i told them to stop imdeiately.. you must know i am a guy.. i hated that.. he stoped . i was in the middle of sankt Gotthard mountain and it was raining late afternoon. had to have another car for get me from this place. i don t remember.who took me away there but i remember had to wait long time .9 years ago
