so every metalcore/hardcore band which use breakdowns are djent? :) djent is the sound of the open 7th string often tuned deeper than A .... Reflections tune their guitars to drop F ... the deeper the tunes the more "djeent djeeeeent" you hear when you strum the open 7th string ... has nothing to do with palm mutes but more with slap techniques on guitar to play some riffs with more percussion .... yes, my english sucks :) greetings from germany
