NEVER HAD AN ORDINARY DAY

Never had an ordinary day,

never lived your life in an ordinary way.

For everything you loved you paid a price

but you couldn´t let the world see you cry.

Never had a moment of peace,

never felt the sun light when the worries set you free.

Every time your life turned a page

seemed like your heart might break.

With the world on your shoulders,

when the nights had grown colder,

you seemed to weather every storm with a queens grace.

When you lost your husband when you buried your children,

I´m sure the angels stood in reverence as you prayed.

How much can one heart take?

How much can one heart take?

Never had a day to call your own

so many needed your warm heart as a home,

whispering a mother´s lullaby

as you sat alone by the fire

I´m sure your heart breaks when some people still say,

somewhere down the line you lost your faith.

How much can one heart take?

How much can one heart take?

Emma Smith is one of my role models. The Lord describes her in Doctrine and Covenants as an "elect lady." She was chosen of the Lord, and she bore all of her trials with patience, never taking her eyes off of what mattered most. She was truly an amazing woman. The world would be such an amazing place if all the women of the Church strived to be just like Emma Smith.

DO NOT disparage Emma Smith Moroni Bal. She eas5 great in the eyes of God and Joseph loved her with all his heart. You try being the wife of the Prophet you opened up the dispensation of the fullness of times. See if you didn't crack after your husband was murdered in cold blood by a bunch of cowards who couldn't even show their faces. You go through the agony that she went through for years before he was martyred. Shame on you. God will not hold you guiltless for this.

Really can't believe people waste their time hating on something they don't completely understand. Get over it, move on, find something to love instead of hate.

Emma Smith left the LDS church and joined the RLDS church after the death of her husband. She joined her son's group rather than Brigham Young. In LDS jargon, she was an apostate.

You should know that your tide commercial before "Never had an ordinary day" is very inappropriate. I just emailed my youth this link and I'm hoping they don't see that ad. Embarrassing!

"I am sure the angels stood in reverence as you prayed" --- I admire the unparalleled faith and courage from Emma, her strength to persevere in adversity and her unconditional love for others. And although she may be unknown to the world, she has been one of the greatest women of the past centuries.

"How much can one heart take"? Here's a living example our memories can cherish when the clouds gather.

It's not a commercial, it's just showing what we had to suffer back then, just to fallow our faith. We were toured, teased(still are), and some of us even died just cause some people were so selfish.

I don't know if all of you guys know, but this story IS true, and I know that because I am lds, and you can say I'm crazy, but I'm not. This woman suffered sooooo much just because she KNEW that this was true and she had The Lord with her. And no, Joseph did not have more than one wife. I just hope this touched your hearts and know that this is true.

Hello I am a Latter Day Saint and I am glad to be one. You know, I'm pretty young and don't have much of an opinion on such things as government, but I can tell you that I know this gospel is true. I agree that the devil is working so, so hard to see this church crumple and fall, but that will not happen, ever. All of us know that this is true, we feel it in our hearts, our souls, and every fiber of our body. You can say whatever you want to, but that will not shake the faith. I'm glad you have an opinion and we are open to hear it, but it will not change our perspective on why we are placed on this earth. I hope that this song means something to you. Weather religious or not, I hope you can still feel the power and beauty of it. Thank you, and if you have an open heart and truly want to receive answers please go to the church website, it is sort of a online thing just for self investigators of the church, it is LDS.Org. Please make this day wonderful. :)

Hi Melissa! I too have had that exact question in my mind for a long time. Like you said the Devil is well aware that those following other religions he doesnt have to worry about as they are not following truth! The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is the true church on earth and will move forward no matter what Satan does. He knows this and so do we!! ;)

I am LDS and very proud of it. But Joseph Smith did have multiple wives but Emma was his only "public" wife, but he followed the commandment to have multiple wives. It say that in the Emma Smith: Her Story movie. And just so you know, bashing someone else's religion makes you look quite childish. Why is it that everyone bashes the LDS church but not any others? I will tell you why.. It is because it is true and the devil is working extra hard to keep people in the dark! Can we please keep only p
