Their first album is still imo the best of all, though I quite like all of their albums up to Trilogy

I've not seen this footage before. Great sound for 1970. I love the ending, possibly better than the studio recording.

This must be two performance spliced together? Both Greg and Carl shirts change at the 2nd verse! And then, they change again to the earlier ones around 5:00

Only weakness in this performance is that Lake forgets to sing the first verse and winds up singing the second verse twice.

I am a big Emerson, Lake, and Palmer fan....they were arguably the first Alternative Rock supergroup and I have always thought that Emerson was one of the greatest rock keyboardists there was and likewise for Palmer on the drums. This is a really early video of them, right after their first album...in 1970. The audio is just OK but I really like the video of how at ease they seem to be playing together and at the end Emerson strikes me as the Jimi Hendrix of keyboards as it looks like he is going to destroy his synthesizer but does not. Enjoy!
