Not a fact your personal opinion. They are probably equally well known. Most Elvis songs were covers or written for him by someone else. The only way to judge is total record sales not most gold/platinum albums as Thriller is equal to a gold 100 times over.I would think Elvis ahead but read recently that Jacko sold more.

The track was recorded previously with Elvis on electric bass. Bill Black couldn't get used to the feel of the Fender electric and so Elvis has to lay it down. Vocals were recorded later.

Ofcourse he had hits all over the world. Lots of great artist do, but what I say is that because of his lack of proper touring, Elvis didn't reach the superstardom like Michael did. Ofcourse he can't be forgotten, he was too good for that. But I'm just saying that if Parker wasn't such a prick, he'd tour the world properly.

But you have to know that Elvis was extremely big in America (bigger than any artist was and will be), but he never got to tour Asia and Europe properly (Thanks to Colonel Parker), what doesn't make him real big in the rest of the world. Michael was huge all over the world, thanks to his big tours (and the Jackson 5 tours).
