This song did not appear on the original EP to Jailhouse Rock because this was recorded at the first session after the session for the songs in Jailhouse Rock. Elvis sings this song differently in the movie.

LOL. This song was from his move JailHouse Rock. That is why. He wasn't himself, when he was singing this song. He was a different character. He was trying to sing it when he had surgery "in the movie" on his throat. That may be why.

On this day in 1957 {September 5th} Elvis Presley recorded "Treat Me Nice" at the Radio Recorders studio in West Hollywood, California. One month later on October 21st it entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #18 and spent 10 weeks on the Top 100. Chances are it would have been higher on the chart except for the fact it was the B-side to "Jailhouse Rock", which was #1 for 7 weeks & stayed on the Top 100 for more than a half-year {27 weeks}, so it got most of the attention.

Elvis sounds like he's doing an impression of Elvis in this one.
