This, & Viva Las Vegas & King Creole are my to top faves. The closing scene with Elvis testing his vocal chords, the band sneaking in to back him(with those goose-bump harmonies) & the affection Judy Tyler exudes as Elvis holds her is for me, the most touching ending to any Elvis movie I've ever watched...& I've seen 'em all. To know Judy Tyler suffered a tragic death before Jailhouse Rock premiered,makes that scene & movie that much more powerful. It's been written, Elvis never watched the movie in lieu of her passing.
