Love Me

Treat me like a fool,

Treat me mean and cruel,

But love me.

Wring my faithful heart,

Tear it all apart,

But love me.

If you ever go,

Darling, I'll be oh so lonely

I'll be sad and blue,

Crying over you, dear only.

I would beg and steal

Just to feel your heart

Beatin' close to mine

Well, if you ever go,

Darling, I'll be oh so lonely

I'll be sad and blue,

Crying over you, dear only.

I would beg and steal

Just to feel your heart

Beatin' close to mine

Well, if you ever go,

Darling, I'll be oh so lonely

Beggin' on knees,

All I ask is please, please love me

Oh yeah

I've said this many times. Elvis is the ONLY white man that could have delivered black music to white people in the 50s. Pat Boone, Andy Williams and those types sounded white. They could not do it. Matter of fact, Pat Boone is laughable. But Elvis sounded black! Not only that, he was handsome and able to feel the music. When he came out and the establishment resisted him, they had to cave in 'cause teen white girls were passing out! There was also one white woman who's name ironically began with an "E" Ella Mae Morse. Shout out to Wynonie Harris, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Roy Milton, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Big Joe Turner & Ray Charles!
