To angel eyes I Agree w you 100% Elvis was tired of it all he went Thur so much people using him hurting him with that book they wrote on him he must have felt very betrayed just like Jesus felt Elvis wanted to go home he was tired and told God I have no need for all this take me home a he did Elvis is w God his mom a Jesse he isn't lonely any more a he's not standing Alone anymore. I like this song guess Elvis did alot of pretending about his divorce from his wife at the time he acted or pretended it didn't matter maybe he wanted to be free for awhile at the time and even tho he lived w women and made them believe he loved them maybe he did in his own way. But he never stopped loving his wife and it showed in his early 70sa late 70s songs especially always on my mind a I can't stop loving you its midnight alot of the songs that he picked to sing related to him a how he missed Priscilla a felt about her but drugs changes your personality makes you feel numb like nothing ma5ters to you they can really mess u up and they really took their toll on Elvis I always knew Elvis was on something way back in the 70s the way he acted danced and talked and his words were slurred he had all the symthons of being high he had to take something tho he's only human a humans that did what Elvis did have to have alot of energy its not hard to get hooked on pills that make you feel good even today alot of people take alot of prescribed med but today its different not at all like the 60sand 70s today doctors are more strict and monitor your med but Elvis had the money and their was alot of yes men w him because nobody said no to ElvisPresley its all about money alot of crooks out there still is this world is so corrupted I believe Elvis had alot of pain in his body and he took pills to fuel his career a his depression he had alot going on to handle w the col running him exhausted worn out w not much rest I believed his mind was troubled alot w his mom gone his divorce a he just got hooked on all these pills to try to hold on to his job hell he was supporting everybody I believe he finally just took his dad's advice and let alot of people go that was only using him I believe he turned it all over togod he probably felt like Jesus felt betrayed I must say Elvis went thru alot a feeling intensely lonely alot on him the man had to take something for energy he put with alot of crap I believe he prayed alot in his last year and he told God I have No Need for All this anymore PS forgive me for all my sins let your will be done. I'm ready to go home I'm tired take my hand lead me home I wanna be w mamma a Jesse a you. I need rest peace love take me now I'm ready that's what I believe happened to Elvis if he really is Dead if he's not then he flew the coupe a planned his dismiss where ever he at I hope he's finally happy because that kind handsome man Deserves to be happy because he gave so much of himself and got little in return his reward is heaven w God a family a true fan of Elvis friend I still love him a miss him but he did things his way Sandra Miller 2015

I truly love this song and always will. ELVIS was a phenonamel and virtious gentle soul. GOD knew whom he had created and he prepared ELVIS from his mothers womb to be who he was and for the love he had in his heart for GOD to be felt around the world. Do you find it strange that ELVIS the name is five letters when moved around spells lives and the KING OF KINGS JESUS also has five letters in his name and he was crucified at the age of 33. This is one of the songs that renders you speechless, I could just stay there and play it again and again and hear those words, feel the intensity of emotions, carefully hidden between the lines and I tell you, if a tear drops off your cheek, then, you will know everything there is to be known, you will feel everything there is to be felt, you would have reached heaven and brought a piece back with you, just pretend.
