@mgw574 it wasn't speeded up to a higher pitch....Elvis and all musicians have multipul takes of multipul tempos and ways to sing and tunings & so on. A song is not written in one key and meant to stay that way forever no matter what, they can change. The song was done as is. Don't be stupid Elvis sang high and low fast & slow, thats why theres so many fucking takes of his songs! he did them many ways.

@mgw574 the track girl happy was the only one from the album to be speeded up i believe and it was because they felt the finished recording needed a tempo change.In between these two takes you can hear Elvis telling the producer or whoever that it needs to be a little faster

Great video as always Adem, 10 Stars. This is such a very cute and fun song. "Girl Happy" is such a fabulous Elvis movie. Shelley Fabares was the lead lady in three of Elvis' movies including this one. Shelley Fabares was the lady who had a major hit with the song "Johnny Angel" back in the early 1960's. I'm so very glad that she got to be the lead lady in three Elvis movies. She and Elvis had such great chemistry together on screen.
