The Miami Herald ran an obituary on the death of a 96-year-old songwriter Sid Tepper who wrote tons of hits for just about everybody, including Elvis. I never heard of this one, "The Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Song," but thought you might like seeing and listening to it. It's from the 1965 movie "Girl Happy" which took place during Spring Break. Love the pastels! The blonde guy is Bing Crosby's son Gary. The girl is Shelley Fabares who had a few hits herself back in the day including "Johnny Angel." That was a great time to be young. Too bad my kids and the youngsters on this list missed it.
