No. Gaelic (and one could argue that gaelic is two languages which just happen to be very similar) is part of the Insular celtic language branch, which, along with the brythonic celtic languages (welsh, breton), is part of the celtic language branch of the indo-european language group...

i have an interest in extinct languages and im really fluent in latin but i can only make out some of the words here :/ gaulish is nearly impossible to learn even linguists know a limited amount :/ here are the words i can make out: light, woman, thirst, heart

You're really mistaken. Gaulish isn't Gaelic. Gaelic is one branch of the Insular Celtic languages along with Brythonic. Gaulish is one of the Continental Celtic languages.
