I just want to say - after listening to this again - this piece is deceptively simple. You think you're listening to a simple tune, until you realize how stunning and purposeful and beautiful the passages are; the tempo, the timing of backing vocals at the ends of phrases, Elton's own voice dubbed over itself or harmonizing with himself...There is so much purpose and it creates an extremely pleasant listening experience!!
