For everyone ripping on his voice like many have pointed out yes he is older and doesn't sound the same and I guarantee you he knows this. You do realize he had surgery on his vocal cords in the late 80's and hasn't sounded the same since. Just appreciate the music it's an amazing song

I've seen quite a few comments about how this or that brought you here. Us old people don't mind one bit :) I'm just sorry you didn't grow up with these amazing songs by Bernie Taupin/Elton John. For those that don't know, the younger ones... all these EJ songs you find you love , his greatest hits, were written by his songwriting partner Bernie Taupin. Bernie would write the lyrics.. and then send them to Elton ( they were usually not in the studio together ) and Elton would write all of the arrangements for them. In the late 70s, Bernie left the partnership but EJ continued to have hits, but none of them no matter how amazing they are, comes to the level of his songs from his time with Bernie. Just sit back and enjoy the music... you are watching a master at work and his live concerts are THIS good... honest. Even now !
