Charted in '79? That was when most 'mainstream' artists who didn't get on the disco train, decided too. I agree, it's not EJ, but Bernie n him are very versatile.....

"Show them how to dance tonight"? Definitely NOT Elton John. Probably went back and listened to this after this was in the can (which should have been the garbage can) and immediately called up Bernie Taupin and said 'HELP!' Without question one of my 2-3 favorite artists of all time, but a good reason this one is NOT in my collection!

I was so disappointed with this album at the time, one of Elton's 2 worst, but it's interesting to hear again for the first time in 30 years
