Of all the nations on the world who shouldn't really be able to do great Rock music it is the English - Shy, understated, respectful, orderly self-effacing..... but somehow we have a fair old stab at it!

Dee Murray is just so fucking good. To play the this bassline live at Elton's breakneck cocaine pace of the early 80's is nothing short of amazing.

The other members of the band are Tim Renwick who used to play with Sutherland Brother and Quiver and Richie Zitto who I think was a session musician for Toto and of course James Newton Howard who went on to write and compose for both TV and Cinema.

I'm 41 and his genius only hit me recently. Was always ubiquitous, but has recently hit me.

The old school rhythm section in the house! Dee and Nigel were the best back up band he ever had....along with Davey...and he needed two guys to replace Davey. Great performance!

That's when NYC use to be free. Now it's a fascist state thanks to the out of state yuppie trust fund hipster punk asses who moved there putting despots and tyrants in power for the past 20 years. They just put a hardcore Marxist in power last year, real nice. Yeah, let's make NYC into Cuba now. Last year they busted more people for pot in the history of the entire city, I remember you could go to a concert like this and light up with the cops 5 feet away and they wouldn't say sh*t. Now you can't even smoke a cigarette in Times square, they actually give you a ticket. So glad I moved the hell out of there.
