@4568Lee yes, that was info I had picked up sometime after posting. It was a combination of over using his voice, cocaine, and booze. The operation was indeed a success but it took most of his falsetto and made his voice a little deeper. You're right he did sound fine after that. Peace.13 years ago

@weirdguy75 Elton had growths on his vocal cords that he had removed. He was lucky, it wasn't cancer. His voice sounded fine after they were removed.14 years ago
