maybe it's disrespectful to dusty springfield, yet I feel that this is the best recorded version of the tune. Elton john tossed off the song as an unrehearsed (or under-rehearsed) addition to his usual set list, yet he nailed it and ended up surpassing the version by the woman he meant to honor. john presented the song as a heartfelt tribute, yet he actually managed to "top" dusty springfield's version.
