Very good. I think you should try a little dadgad tuning. I imagine you are one of these people who have played in standard tuning your whole life and when that happens you can become kind of a victim of it. Those chords in dadgad have a different sound and standard tuning chords for a song like that just lack the spirituality needed for that song.
