when I listened to this at the age of 8, yes eight, I fell in love with Elton. thought I was his wife when singing this song...wow was my gay-dar out of whack. he married a Canadian anyway. close as I'm going to get. I still love him with all of my Canadian heart.

Yes, Elderberries are a crop that was used in home brewing,,,it makes a very refreshing alcoholic cordial.

The first song I ever saw Elton do live, in Seattle 1973.

One of Sir Elton's more underrated songs. I really like it. BTW is there such a fruit as an elderberry?

The first album I ever bought was "Don't Shoot Me........". I played that album over and over and over. I don't think there was a weak song on it. Great album.

I wish Elton would do a tour of the "B" sides. They were never "B" sides to me, just another great song.

King Elton, great album from the seventies. It was one of the first albums I ever bought back in high school in the seventies. All the songs are good and Elton is a great piano player.

Elton had the best B-sides! Remember how popular "Harmony" was? It was actually the B-side to Bennie And The Jets. It was like a double single for Elton.

Remember buying the 8 Track Tape of this album on St Patrick's Day 1973. Had it until I sold my 1971 Van with the 8 Track Player.
