Elton John

Elton John performs "Daniel" live at the Farm Aid concert in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 7th, 1990. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

His voice wane around 1985. He then had surgery to remove polips from his throat which changed his voice. His voice then changed again in the late 90s. He still sounds great but he is 65 and few people have performed as much as him in their career so I'm sure his voice box has taken a beaten.

he tends to come and go, he is getting older, after all. Some of his performances are still pretty good, but you show me anyone his age that sounds EXACTLY like they did when they were 25 and I'll show you a pre-recorded performance. One thing about Elton, he never ever lip syncs.
