To think this was a B side. Most artistes woud be proud to have had this as their best song! So beautiful - always liked it - and it came on the reverse of one my favourite Elton songs (Little Jeannie).

@platitudipus Bootleg recordings and buying the 45s, unfortunately. Some of the B-Sides made it onto the Classic Years remasters of the albums (chiefly the ones from 1969-1975), but the ones that are post-1975 are hit-and-miss, since only a few of the later albums received bonus tracks (a crime, in my opinion). They could have at least release them on iTunes, but no dice.

Amazing song, B-Side of Little Jeannie in the USA. Would LOVE him to release this and Hey Papa Legba on a cd. 2 of his greatest b-sides BY FAR!

Thanks for posting this song; have not heard in 25 years; as always non perishable soap bubbles from a true great composer; lyrics by Gary Osborne as I recall.

I'm pretty sure he just transferred it from the vinyl 45. It's never appeared on CD.

I used to own this 45 back in the day. It got cracked and I never was able to get another copy. Fortunately, I made a copy of it and have been listen to this tune for many years! One of my favs!
