One of my favorites, and most underrated songs of the 80's

Nice to see that I am not the only one that thinks that this album "Sleeping with the past" is one of the best to highlight  the BT $ EJ collaborations. I mean I love Durban deep, Healing Hands, Sacrifice, Sleeping with the past, Blue Avenue and last (but never the least) Club at the end of the street.

This song is one of the most under celebrated in EJ's repertoire!  The sheer fun in this song and the energy!  It just makes you wanna get up and dance!!!! If songs like Celebration by Kool and the Gang can become a must hear on a party music playlist, then surely this song should also be included!

Had the DVD and used to be in love with the beautiful blonde with curly hair and light blue shirt behind the background vocals... She is beautiful, Isn't she?

The way he sings the bridge is my favourite part of the song. You CAN'T sit still!

People will disagree with me on this, but after Too Low For Zero, Sleeping With the Past is Elton's second best album from the 1980s

This man is amazing. He is a legend, if you look to his past story... but if you see him and listen with your senses open... you will discover he is even more tasty nowdays. he kept on growing.. not always happens that someone performs alive with burning power. It's incredible his power. He deserves to be listened, danced and enjoyed,... simply Great!!! Best regards, Joe

@hagyspasher an extraordinarily talented musician who brought so much energy and enthusiasm to this concert, which i personally feel was Elton John's best Live Concert!

Curt Bisquera nails the drumming perfectly, just the right amount of sloppiness! A nice gem from Elton that he rarely plays live.

This song only reached #28 on the top 40 chart, but reached #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Why this wasn't a bigger success is beyond me. It's one of my all time favorite Elton songs. The official video for this is very cute. It's a fun song. The crowd seems to be getting into it.
