Amazing what John produced EJ, his second album, to Capt. Fantastic and how far he fell the next five albums or so, but it was good. Everyone needs a little rain to appreciate the sunshine. But those albums, like this one, are painful to listen to. Never mind the videos, lol9 years ago

I like The Fox a lot but the only song on it that had good commerical appeal and should have been a single was Breaking Down Barriers. That album works better as a whole than later albums which were hit singles surrounded by filler to fill up record space. (Breaking Hearts comes to mind)11 years ago

A massive amount of Elton's songs on his albums would've been massive hits if released as singles. I would go as far to say that his biggest ever hits aren't as good as the one's that don't get air time on his vast array of albums. But i could say that about a lot of great artists.
