can i just add here that anne rice was absolutely in love with the broadway version, she saw it opening night. now, she might have found out she likes the San Fran version better, but nonetheless. It's funny how all the fans are much more critical than she is.

Lestat comes off as a douche when Louis narrates. When HE narrates his own story, he doesn't seem like a douche. That gives me the inkling that he Can be douchey, just not all the time, and he has legit reasons for it.Not totally off though.
