The fucking negativity in the comments is unreal. Jesus, I know I know, you're the coolest ever and would have done a waaaay better interview with someone who is obviously depressed and doesn't want to talk to you. Way better than Carson who is pretty universally regarded as a stand up guy who is knowledgable in his field. Drop the whole "I'm too cool for school" thing already.

I actually don't think this interview is that bad. Yeah, you can see that Elliott doesn't want to be there and that he's shy or disinterested, but that's just his general attitude about these things. The questions and answers themselves are pretty interesting.

I saw Elliott Smith play along with Sleater Kinney about 15 to 16 years ago. He seemed pretty quiet then. Maybe he just doesn't like interviews. I know I wouldn't.
