I once wrote to Elkie at Woody Bay and got a great response & signed items. Also met her in person at the show when she signed my Circles CD. She sat on the stage after the show and was simply fab! ...My fave albums are Circles/ No more the Fool/Amazing/Electric Lady.....Love the new album too Powerless! I am coming to see you at the Gala in Durham on the 17th. Didn't pay much attention to the song. All I'm interested in is the sound that comes out of your mouth. It's soothing and electrifying all at the same time. Kudos to the piano man as well!

Great stuff elkie,get yourself back to cumbria soon. Im 33 and in to all kinds of music from recent to classic rock and pop and i can safetly say that elkies voice is one of the best ive heard.It just seems to get better with age which is very rare,she must look after her voice alot.
