The Smothers Brothers had so many great bands and acts on their show. I watched their show alot when I was a kid, as we only had 3 channels to watch (ABC, CBS, and NBC) for prime time TV. I only wish I could've understood what was going on back then, as I was born in '57 and too young to appreciate what was going on. Peace, Jeff T., PGH,PA

Their followup to "I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night" was a #27 hit in 1967. Electric Prunes - Get Me To The World On Time

Great tune for a flick about time travel (back to the 1960s). Nice "shadowy" reverb-like sound. This tune is king tone!

Why is the image so bad? Is the passage of time destroying the film?

@TheBabyboomkidof53 Although I did serve in the military during that period, I'm not angry with the Smothers brothers. I just feel their behavior was disrespectful towards not only servicemen (many of whom had been drafted), but towards authority and our elected leaders. Personally, I found their antics reprehensible and anything but humorous.

Is this U2, "Desire?" (Yeah, that's funny, he could sing about lighting his cigarette but couldn't say "you shake up all my hormones.")

The Smother's Brothers were about as funny as a case of the Cambodian clap!

I have a 2-CD set of the Electric Prunes, and in my version of the song, it goes: "You shake up all my hormones, you put me through a change"...

@Dayga Gaga? Is that a band or a person? I haven't watched Television since 1984 and Stopped buying Music about the same time. And only listen to Rush Limbaugh et al on Radio.

@duanerichardson1 Actually, other than Classic Rock format, I hardly listen to radio these days. And although watching Mick and Dylan last night on the Grammy's was a bit painful, I have to admit getting a chuckle out of Gaga's grand entrance. That shit was funny!.

@Dayga Hmmm, Glenn...for someone around in 1967...you listen to pretty modern music
