2 years have past since the London 2012 Games. We still talk about it, we relive the memories and sporting achievements. We will never forget how wonderful it was. The greatest Olympics ever, we did. Well done Great Britain. We stood together. We united as one. Let's keep the memories and amazing moments. #ProudToBeBritish #Britain. Inspire a generation. We did it.

Wonderful, inspiring, uplifting .. the PERFECT Olympics tune (and no, I don't work for the IOC). Still resonates 2 years later and makes the hairs on the back of the neck stand up!! But, is there anywhere to BUY the track and keep it forever? This is the only place I can listen to it :-( Any help would be really appreciated.

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, the comments here are so overwhelmingly positive about the olympics that it looks like the government or IOC sent some lackies to go and write them

For the first time in my life I realised how massively wrong I was. I thought the Olympics for Britain was so wrong in many ways, and hated Boris, Coe, and all the others who were promoting it based on their own self interest. Then it happened and I was transfixed to a period of time that I miss and listening to this brings me to tears wishing I could relive that time again in 2012.

Wow! Almost 2 years on and people still talk about the Olympic Games and why not? It was an amazing experience which i am sure the likes of me are never likely to experience again in my lifetime. I was at the Olympic Stadium during the Paralympics and witnessed a TEAMGB Gold medal being won, the atmosphere was fantastic. This tune just bought back so many memories..... #feelingproudtobebritish

I had a dream that the year was 2040 and London was hosting the games. In my dream, I was in charge of pressing the button launching the fireworks and lighting the torch. Hopefully it all comes true :D

Will the IOC ever award the olympics to the uk again. I doubt very that they will come to the uk not in my lifetime(ii am 46) but i hope that 2012 will show future generations that we can put on games. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN TO THE IOC FOR GIVING GBR THE CHANCE FOR PUTTING THE SUMMER OLYMPICS

I don't know why but even though I don't like Sport when The Olympics came to the United Kingdom for some reason I just loved it and for some reason I got into sport. I mean it must be good if there is buzz all over the UK and not just London (it must of been huge in London) I live in Aberdeen and I could feel the Buzz. I never went to London but I went to Olympic Football in Glasgow and I was there when the wrong flag was put out and none of us in the stadium noticed. We had already had a 1 hour interval and then we had to wait and extra hour without being told what was happening. Even though that happened I loved it and I loved being a part of History. Although I costed the government alot of money that we didn't have I still think it is the best thing they have spent their money on and I if I could go back I would not change it. There is truly nothing better than The Olympics coming to your home country and London 2012 proved that. A once in a lifetime experience.

7) British poets, novelists, authors & musicians are renowned the world over 8) They are awesome at motor sports (must be something to do with driving on the left side of the road on tight streets at high speeds) 9) They won more Gold medals per national population than any other country (I think, no doubt someone will check it) 10) All of this done by a small island nation Yeah, I gotta admit they aint exactly bad!
