Drummer is actually doing some interesting stuff. They do many odd timings. He has to keep the numbers in his head. I had a band where we would overlay 4/4 on 7/4 and meet up at beat 28. They do similar stuff. The counting plus 6 different actions on the drums takes concentration. He's there to keep the beat. The bass player keeps the meter. This is more than boom smack boom boom smack to my ear. Crazy that the bass player is also playing the melody!

these guys showed so much promise with their self titled album, but they just kept doin the saaame thing over n over n their later albums. Seriously the drummer is good but needs to back of the straight up rock 2 and 4 accents

@EvenFlow420 these guys have really opened up my own bands ideas on how we should approach music. he doesnt necessarily disregard what the bass is intended for, rather hes expanding on what it can do. gotta love honest music like this
