Room Noises - Eisley captivated everyone with their melodies, harmonies and childish, whimsical lyrics. Everything is compared to this. A timeless classic.Combinations - More mature, less whimsy. A solid album. In many ways it was "over"-produced (IMHO) and you begin to wonder how much of their sound was being controlled by producers (the "major" part of indie-on-a-major sticks out on this one). Still, the songs are beautiful and stick with you.The Valley - Their first officially indie album. Some of their most serious work dealing with their most grown-up themes are found here. Songs like "Ambulance" and "The Valley" stick out as being some of the best songs they've ever written. However, I felt the album as a whole lacked the originality and melodic dreaminess of their early work. The production had a very classic punk-rock vibe that toyed with contemporary indie-pop arrangements, and frankly, didn't impress me. You were always hoping their creativity would go to a new level - but it never did.Currents - Eisley has grown up. They have found their sound and they are OWNING it. Emotive, magical, and experimental, this album exudes all that is and was and ever will be Eisley. Their best yet. It has been years since my ears have been obsessed with an album, thank you Eisley for reminding me that I have not lost that ability...10 years ago
