Nowadays a guy hardly dares to call a woman "Sweetie," or anything else, particularly in the work place. I watch old "Hollywood Squares," shows where Peter Marshall calls all the women "sweetheart," and I can't believe he got by with it-much less Bob Barker and Richard Dawson loving on the women the way they did on camera. Now, after the fact, we find out Dawson asked permission to kiss the women before the show started, so no jealous hubby would punch his lights out.
