Egypt Through The Glass shop tells the story of a young entrepreneur and talented glass blower who set up a shop in Cairo and provide an update to the original method of glass blowing. Before long, he finds himself trapped in the country during the civil unrest that sparked the Arab Spring. The shop quickly falls into disarray and the glass blower finds himself displaced from the enterprise. A year later, he returns to reclaim his life's work. This film is a first hand account of the Egyptian Revolution through the eyes of a young American glass-blower.

Inhabitants of Egypt, I am an Israeli and you did not like me, but who wants to hear what I think: I think Mursi not so bad as you think you should give him a chance for a year and then decide if it improved your state or made a bad

not to be rude or anything, but what was the point of the spit at the end? the story seems pretty interesting. i just hope that its the truth about whats going on in egypt and NOT like all the other discreditable nonsense out there...

i read an interview where the film maker said leaving the premise out in the trailer was intentional.

And one final thought,.. breaking into a clearly cordoned off area of tombs or temples on the Giza plateau? Seriously Guys? Way to totally disregard the heritage of Egypt's antiquities, which are seriously at risk right now. Unless there is a really great explanation for this behavior, I think this is completely inappropriate. I grew up in Egypt, and care deeply about what's taking place there. I hope the actual film is better than this promo suggests.

It is really hard to tell what this is about by watching this. I had a hard time believing that the people in the film, save the one young man who with a legitimate Egyptian accent (were the others American?) truly represent the revolution. And through a glass shop? What kind of glass shop? I was hoping this was from the perspective of the working class glass blowers who sell their wares through shops in the Khan el Khalili,.. but it looked like an American dude. Not really convinced....
