Edvin Marton, world-renowned violinist and winner of the 2006 Emmy for Best Composition and the 2008 MTV Europe Award, has announced his debut US release titled "Passion" slated for fall, 2013.

Passion for music is a concept that Edvin learned very early. As a child prodigy in Hungary he was already an accomplished musician by the time he was 8 years old. After studying violin in Moscow, Budapest, and at The Juilliard School in New York City, in 1996 Edvin earned the life-long honor to perform on a rare Stradivarius violin by winning a worldwide competition. The violin that Edvin uses was played by Paganini himself, and is currently valued at over $3 million USD.

Edvin has reached millions of fans worldwide through previous releases and touring, and importantly a partnership with ice-skating champion, Evgeni Plushenko, who won the gold medal at the 2006 Torino Olympics while skating to two of Edvin's songs, his original composition "Tosca Fantasy" and his arrangement of "The Godfather."
