@Yorkcityknight Honestly, I don't hear the crowd until the 'hey, hey, hey, hey' part. There's a bit of echoing on his voice though :)

@StrongImaginationA Suggest you get your ears cleaned out as you can clearly hear the crowd singing along.

@StrongImaginationA unfortunately, in terms of energy and driven-ness, it doesn't come anywhere near the original. For a creative cover it's not creative enough.

@busterzzzzz Agreed, wtf is the point of making a copy of the always better original? Unless it's a Dylan song.. Then all covers are better than the original..

@gabe25591 I think that's what a good cover should do (not suck the fun out of a song), it should show a new take on a song. I think this cover does that, you can't deny it's very different from the original

I think this works out for them. Because this seems to me like a song that you can take and make it serious. just saying.

@busterzzzzz It's a great song by a great GREAT band, and I'm also a huge Editors fan, but the problem that I have with it is that they've totally sucked all the fun out of what's supposed to be a ridiculously overblown, joyous song. It's normal for Editors - their music is pretty fucking downbeat, but I feel their taking the performance of this song a bit too seriously. That's all.

i like it. i like it when bands change it up a little when they cover a song.

What bothers me the most is that the audience doesn't seem to have a clue as to what the song is.
