Although I believe Editors is a good band, unfortunately this cover does not do justice to the original. Since the original song is a masterpiece it would be very difficult to be ruined. So this cover is still a nice song, but miles away from the beauty of the original.

I agree, it's about 1/8th as good as the original - but if you wanted to know what the words were, you should find the Mark Radcliffe and Marc Riley version. It's on here.

Nothing like as good as the original - they completely rob it of its energy. The only plus point is the clarity of Tom's voice meaning I finally get to find out what some of the lyrics are.
