Eddie does a real good job here, but I like the way this song plays in the original key better. Pete plays it in this key live too and I'm guessing it's because of the high notes.

Yes,Pete is a genius... But it's not whether Pete's better than Eddie, both go to the core, both bring out the melancolie and beauty and shortness of this life. Both sing from the heart and manifest this. Both are musicians connecting to their listeners, and yes camrybezzo this is the most beautiful song in the world.

@jnoyes1 not sure if you ever found this or not but it's from Pearl Jam's show at the San Diego Sports Arena on June 5, 2003. You may know this already, but just in case, they released all the shows from that (and many other) tour(s) so I'm sure a little digging and you'll be able to find a copy.
