why do these genius guitar players always self destruct. Eddie was just as good if not better than Hendrix. nobody could beat Jimi on feel and the blues but Eddie had more chops. this album was interesting but not what it could have been. sounds lackluster like he was on heroin. with George behind him (who was also a junkie) this could have been the guitar player's bible. I don't think George realized Eddie's impact as a guitarist or he was too high to care about it. Ernie Isley another great guitarist/songwriter couldn't fuck with Eddie on soloing
