Some nice guitar from Joe Maphis here too, with that signature Mosrite sound. Seem like Eddie thought there was going be a key change @ 2.02...

Hi Optandus. Thanks for your nice reply. When Buddy holly died, he had 6 recordings on tape, the fireballs got the rights in court to add music to them. Buddy Holly seems to have far more recognition than Eddie Cochran. Do you have much of 50s 60s collection ?? I have heaps. I found it very sad, to watch Dick d Agiston and the swingers, which were great, featuring Eddie Cochran. I have never seen fast jiving on a 45rpm, and i know a few people with the best collections in Australia. Kind Regard's. Karl

I have a great knowledge of 50s 60s rock n roll, never knew this was Eddie Cochran at 17, playing guitar. This man should have had far more recognition, than Buddy Holly. I feel very sad, watching town hall party, 1959, staring Eddie Cochran. He died 14 months, after singing about the death of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper. You really do have to ask, is there a god. Karl Gillies
