However, that is great, great song. Although I liked it more on the record when he played it slower, and together with a piano.

Ed Harcourt makes beautiful music. But there is one thing about him that keeps me from liking this kind of live video, and that is him trying to be cool. Trying to be a rock star. Wearing sunglasses while playing in the shadows. Having a haircut and several kinds of beard to look like Elvis or something. Maybe it's just his style or maybe you have to look like that to attract people... it's just that before I ever saw him play I had a picture of an uncertain, thoughtful person in mind.
