Eberhard Schoener is one of Germany's most influentual musical person. Starting his recording career in the early seventies, he seemed to invent the music new and from scratch. These two songs come from his album FLASHBACK (1977). The members of Police participated in the recording sessions and on several tours through Europe. The Band name The Police was not mentioned when Sting, Andy Summers and Stuart Copeland startes their collaboration with Schoener. This is truly pre-Police stuff. Listening to the complete album, you would be surprised how overwhelming the guitar playing of Andy was. Unfortunately, the three guys could not keep up the high expectiations as "The Police". Luckily enough, we have the records from the Schoener period.

Wow, what a treat! For decades, this was just an unobtainable music experience for me. Rarely heard anywhere. Very hard to find without shelling out a lot of $$$. THIS IS AWESOME!

As I remember, Eberhard Schoener was although the vocal coach of Sting during the time, they worked together.

Seconded on personalsingular's comment. Why didn't the uploader mention the Police in the title? Weird. Yeah, this is a cool old piece of history - Sting used to have such a high vocal register!
