Having been rescued at one point from homelessness, F M Cornog ( AKA East River Pipe ) creates bittersweet little pop gems that shimmer with his own layers of synth and guitar. His wounded vocal style lies somewhere between Dylan and Lou Reed. This simple four line song "King of Nothing Never" pretty much sums up Cornog's world view "Pain is comin' to town but it won't last forever here's your paper crown king of nothing never".
