Tools meets Sepultura was how this was pretty accurately described by one of the glossy rags of the day. Incredible debut that earnt the band a deservedly high place in the hearts of UK metal fans. Kerrang 5KKKK, Kerrang Nomination for Best New Band and supports with everyone from Disturbed and Megadeth to full European Tours with Fear Factory and Soulfly amongst others.This was their swangsong EP, featuring 4 new songs recorded for Island as demos and bolstered with a live track, a video clip and a remix.

just found this video while reminiscing! I used to be a soundie in Cov and did the Blueprint gig at the jailhouse! also worked on the et9 gig at the golly a few years before that. You know they have reformed right?

Hahah!y boyfriends band supported these a few years ago and they stayed over at his house and they had a magazine that had a questionnaire innit which asked the question " who is your favourite band"? and they had written "Earthtone 9" and the band read it and to them it was awfully ebarrassing!!!!!!

I will always love this band. I remember eating cornflakes backstage with Karl (the vocalist) and my mate Barry, just straight out the box and getting really pissed. Sound guys. As was Karl when we put The Blueprint on in Cov. These will always remain in the top 5 of my favourite bands ever.
