Where, do you go, when you're lost.

Is it up, is it down, is it here

And what, do you see, in the dark

Is it real, is it me, are you scared

Do you believe in yourself

Are you good, are you bad, are you there

And can you confess to the morning light

And be true, what to do-

When it's you, feelin' blue

When it's you, feelin' blue

Tell me truth, if you can

Do you know, who you are

In a dream

Do you forget, when you open

your eyes, and you lose, what to do-

When it's you, feelin' blue

When it's you, feelin' blue

Do you believe in yourself

Are you good, are you bad, are you there

Just leave it alone, let it go

Will you see, will you wait, has it gone

Then why, do you sleep in your chair

No there's not much to do-

When it's you, feelin' blue

When it's you, feelin' blue

one of my favorite songs from the 1974 LP "Open Our Eyes." so smooth and excellent latin beat. "Mom" from Last Days and Times is the best mothers day song ever.

0:07-0:12, my favorite part of the song! Reminds me of a Seseme Street type song. I can see members of the band jumping/running up to the camera in slow motion on that mountain on the album cover. It would've been a great archival promo film video.

Should have been a good-sized hit.

This song was recorded in summer 1973 at the Caribou Ranch in Nederland, Colorado for the group's 1974 CBS/Columbia Records LP "Open Our Eyes"

Adolescence can be such a bad scene for so many. Music like this is a wonderful and soulful sanctuary when taken for all the heartache. Young people please indulge and stay with us.

This is a perfect example of why EWF is my favourite band ever. I do love their voices, those epic guitars, oh and that synth solo! Man!!!

If I listen to this song ten times, I still need to hear it again. It travels through my spine and into my soul every time and it never gets old. I thank God for Earth, Wind and Fire...

*Earth Wind & Fire - Feelin' Blue*A pretty, heavily jazz-tinged song with an absolutely stupendous synth solo by (I believe) founder member Larry Dunn at about 2:10.Incidentally, this album was remixed in 2001 and the result was a mess, as is so often the case with these things - eveything pushed to maximum amplitude, with the keyboard solo all but buried under the backing. I wish record companies wouldn't do that.
