metalcore and deathcore are too metal ... We have an entire generation of metalheads above us before death metal , they cant stand what we call metal (Death metal) .... Most 50 year old iron maiden and black sabbath fans would beg you to turn this off ...

it seems people still don´t know the difference between metal breakdowns and core breakdowns. i love metal breakdowns, hardcore breakdowns are stupid, generic and repetitive (nowadays), and they have become a trend. every once in a while you get bands that sometimes use hardcore breakdowns in their music, but actually have something else going on than just DUNDUN--DUNDUN and dont have a thousand of them in one song to fill time (Lamb Of God comes to mind)
