Most probably recognize Harry Dean Stanton from the movie, "Alien" (1979). Can only guess why he appears in Dwight Yoakam's video. Dwight was more than likely a big fan of his and Stanton was a fan of Dwight's. Good song! I'm not big on song videos, but there are several put to Dwight Yoakam's music that I enjoy. This is one of them, and it takes me back in memory.
