Norma Tanega wrote so many beautiful songs and for some reason, like Ruthann Friedman -- only lasted for a very short time in the spotlight. I love what Dusty Springfield did for Norma -- and what The Association did for Ruthann (by recording her song and having a hit with "Windy."). These artists gave these singer-songwriters a little piece of musical history that they richly deserved. 10 years ago
