Looks like she forgot the lyrics around 1:40. She knew to cover her mouth to not mess up the lip synching. what a hoot dusty

I don't know why I got so many negatives for what I said. This is just a dappy novelty performance aimed at the mass of dimwits, and she was far better than this. Hence, the only good bit about this nonsense is her legs.

GOD! i havn't heard about Freddy Paris since about 1968! Still got a couple of his RCA and Bluebird 45's, but always wondered what happened to him. His only LP released in Australia has his silhouette, maybe to disguise that he's black??? anyway love him!

Amazingly smooth duet!!! This was a time when people really practiced their craft and knew how to project emotion and image from the stage...Wonderful music and true entertainment..Real magic.. Dusty was staggeringly great.....Hopefully, the producers of the biopic will realize the gravity of the work and it won't be a pandering hackjob and will expose her to a new generation of listeners.... Popular music will certainly be all the better for it.

I totally agree! But... the only thing is.... this isn't the oldest version of this song >.>. The original was in Annie Get Your Gun ^.^. I actually liked the original better because it wasn't really a song, it was part of the MUSICAL, being a SCENE not just a song.

It was odd but I liked it! She was a petite little thing, though! Looks tiny!

Interesting jazzy arrangement. Somebody took Irving Berlin's music and made it sound like it was written by Burt Bacharach.

Amazing - this interaction between a black man and a white woman would be have absolutely FORBIDDEN on American TV at this time! That she touches him affectionately would have had some Americans ready to burn a TV station to the ground, and I am not exaggerating. When Petula Clark merely took Harry Belafonte by the hand at the end of a duet they sang on US TV in 1968 or '69, there was a furious, angry national outcry.
