5 thumbs down? You have to have a great deal of douchebag in you to click a thumbs down on a Dust documentary trailer. Is it because it's so short. And it doesn't seem to be available anywhere as a full documentary ? Okay then that's understandable ,because it is kinda bogus that its not a full documentary about the band and is incomplete as it stands ,. But still it does not deserve a thumbs down. These guys were insanely underrated and totally in the wrong place at the wrong time to have not exploded and been at the top of the US hard rock music scene for a couple of year .Obviously a result of very bad record company management and management promotion.

All 4 have found great success after Dust. Kerner has become a university professor along with a producing partner with Wise, Wise a very successful producer, Aaronson has become a studio bassist who remains in huge demand, and Marc went on to the path breaking Wayne county, The Voidoids, the Ramones and now fronts his own popular band. .

well it took almost a whole year but i finally posted an appropriate comment into the youtube comments of the (VH1) "Heavy: The Story of Metal - Episode 1" clip. me being the guy with the Dust LOVE ME HARD t-shirt and all (pictured onstage at a dinky LA club w/the '55 Gibson sunburst les paul and its soapbar p/u/'s, two summers after me dropkicking the "heavy metal" term out of the UofA freshman chemistry class blackboard (and into the world of music) (YES -- every lame 80's hollywood "scene" band that you hated, as i concede in the comment -- it's all my fault. somebody's got to take the rap. satan for bon jovi, me for Keel and Winger or whoever you hated etcthanks to that VH1 segment, i now know that Grand Funk selling out Shea Stadium with uber-heavy rock (turning into heavy metal), ahhh that meant nothing, silly me. Led Zeppelin playing wanky acoustic riffs for the girrls, now that's metal! i believe one DUST 1971 promo t-shirt matched with an acceptably appropriate 1955 Gibson sunburst electric (in the VH1 still frame photo, taken one summer later) trumps any 100 chumps who think judas priest invented anything but new twists on lameness, hiding behind vast walls of "leathers and studs, man, leather and studs."the entire comment read like this --
